Sometimes we tend to forget to do the basic simple things in life. For example like smile. And listen. (Hehe..the part about listening is vital for me lah..those who know me understand what i meant).
Like last Thursday, at Woodlands Library..i was scanning my card and the comp doest work. So i turned to the other comp and whispered to myself, "Dunno if this comp can work" while facing to the little boy. I guess the boy heard what i said and when i managed to scan..the boy replied,"There..can work!" And i thought the talking ends but it didnt. That boy continued to talk to me, (hehe..the boy wanna start a conversation with me!) he told me that now we can borrow up to 8 books and u can get a free keychain...have to show the receipt to the counter and the person will stamp and signed on it to avoid any cheaters...(he even showed me the receipt)plus, he added that time got promotion/contest thingy and he got himself a free bag..i looked at his bag and nodded...and he mentioned that the bag is available in pink too!
Such a long convo..with me nodding and showing that im accepting his presence. I guess i kinda make his day...dat little kid..can see that he's bright. Actually, i know a 'thing' or two about library promotion thingy without him telling me but ah well..give that boy a break..it wouldnt hurt. As long my nodding and 'ahha' sounds very sincere and not sarcastic is good enough. Kids do need attention too, you know!
Hmm...at least he didnt do survey on me and then con me to take some financial banking thingy. Haha..
And yeah..i do agree its okay to smile at strangers. Especially those 'strangers' you know exterior-ly. Heh! Well..nainai often complains that i tend to frown..so ok fine..lets flash a smile without looking freaky at the same time.
Hahah..and guess what..my sis caught me smiling at some guy. She was like.."I SAW THAT!" Hehe..told her that he is some guy i know when i was in the lift, with him and his 3-4 friends teasing me upon seeing that i wore a prefect badge. Hahaha..hey its okay to smile. Doesnt really hurt anything. In the end..she even admit that the guy do look cute. Harhar..I know sis..u said that very same statement twice already. And i do find his way of approaching me very cute too..haha..that bad bad boy!
And last but not not least.. My sisters sounds very geared up to makeover me. Not only them..even Deedle did say that she wished to makeover me. Why? Do i look that kind of girl who will turn from ugly quack quack to beautiful swan? hahaha..
